Description
The perfect softshell pants when sub-zero temperatures set in – the Strathcona Warm Pants deliver what the name promises. These hiking and trekking pants have contemporary styling to keep you warm, they’re 80% windproof thanks to the high-stretch fabric and exceptionally breathable. They’re eco-friendly hiking pants for winter that feature Eco Finish, environmentally friendly water repellency that doesn’t use fluorocarbons (PFC) – that can stand up to short rains. They have two zip pockets on the sides as well as a back pocket. In addition, the warm men’s hiking pants have a practical leg pocket where you can stow your hat or gloves. They feature pioneering sustainability and were produced with climate-friendly manufacturing and recycled materials – the primary recycled polyamide was made with a certified mass balance process in which pyrolysis oil is extracted from used tires and fed into a conventional polyamide production process. Chemical recycling reduces CO2 emissions by up to 60%. Recycled polyester was also used. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials. As a member of the independent Fair Wear organization with Leader Status, VAUDE is committed to fair working conditions and fair wages. In addition, this product is climate neutral – we’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit myclimate organization
